About
This five-day rewriting practice comes mainly in the form of questions, guiding you as you rewrite the story to remain diligently truthful, resonant, and coherent. Based on principles of creative ethics and personal mythology, this guide also orients the writer to self-examine and reflect on how their own beliefs and worldviews shape the story. Things you'll leave with: • Rewrites • Cuts and more well-defined scenes • Emotionally complex characters that feel human • Patterns, cycles, and relational threads that carry your story from beginning to end • Emotional truth and resonance • A deeper understanding of your story's central message • A deeper understanding of yourself as a person and storyteller (and your own life's mythology) • A stronger version of your story that goes far beyond anything surface-level *Note: This is a timed course limited to five days; this is to encourage momentum in your re-writing process.
