This onboarding tutorial introduces The Writer’s Hood’s teaching philosophy and the practical approach behind its programs. It explains how the school supports writers through accessible, community-centered learning, mentorship, critical and creative thinking, and respect for each writer’s distinct voice and lived experience. Every collective member is strongly encouraged to take this tutorial to become familiar with our pedagogy and apply it to their process, and see how their work will elevate and jump right off the page.
