Six Weeks of Dramaturgy Bootcamp 

This six-week dramaturgical intensive is for playwrights who are deep in a draft and ready to do the real work: excavating the heart of the play, sharpening what it's trying to do, and building the confidence to rewrite with clarity and purpose. Facilitated by Nelson Díaz-Marcano — Literary Director of the Latinx Playwrights Circle and developer of over 150 new plays — this seminar-style workshop brings together a small group of writers for focused, personalized dramaturgical feedback in a collaborative setting. Each writer works on their own play. The group helps you crack it open. Total Cost: $250 Weekly & monthly payment plans available

Two-hour Workshop

In this crash course, playwright and founder of The Writer's Hood, Christin Eve Cato, invites aspiring and early-career playwrights to an afternoon dedicated to the art of submissions. In just two hours, participants will learn how to: - Navigate the world of play submissions - Understand the differences between festivals, residencies, fellowships, and contests - Prepare professional play submission materials and artist statements - Find opportunities that fit their work - Avoid common submission mistakes - Leave with a clearer artistic strategy. When: June 20th (online) Time: 3pm-5pm ET | 12pm-2pm PT Price: $10 for Studio Members $25 (nonmembers)

Two-Day Intensive 

Learn how to craft your story in essay form and leave with a new piece evaluated by journalist and editor, Johanna Ferreira. Get all the resources you need to get pitch-ready for any print or online publication/magazine. Johanna is a Domincan-American journalist, editor, and one of the most powerful voices in Latiné media. With over 12 years of experience in the industry, she served as Content Director of PopSugar Juntos and Deputy Editor of HipLatina, with bylines in Oprah Daily, Allure.
